Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Oxford, is seeking a passionate and results-driven Senior Project Manager to join their award-winning team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the delivery of diverse projects across various sectors, including blue-chip clients, sporting teams, automotive OEMs, research organizations, and academic institutes. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will take ownership of project management services from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams of internal and external consultants
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, driving business development initiatives
- Coordinate feasibility studies, site surveys, and stakeholder engagements
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure monitoring
- Administer building contracts and oversee construction progress on-site
- Prepare and present regular project reports to clients and stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in consultancy design development and construction project management
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
- Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts is desirable
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Accreditation under a professional body is advantageous
