Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to join our team and help lead the successful delivery of key projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical thinking, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Experience in business case writing, persuasive presentation skills, and a track record of delivering major projects, particularly in IT, healthcare, or education sectors, will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Utilise critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive project success and foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.
- Develop and present compelling business cases to stakeholders, demonstrating the value and feasibility of proposed initiatives.
- Utilise excellent presentation skills to communicate project updates, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive strategic change initiatives and business transformation efforts to enhance organisational performance and efficiency.
- Leverage expertise in programme management methodologies to streamline processes and optimise project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager, ideally within IT, healthcare, education, or related industries.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business case writing and persuasive presentation techniques.
- Experience leading major projects from conception to completion, with a focus on strategic change and business transformation.
- Familiarity with Programme Management Office (PMO) practices and methodologies.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
