The Opportunity:

Our client is a highly successful Commercial Property Company, active in Property/Asset Management, Development, Investment and Public/Private Property Partnerships, across the UK.

An ambitious and motivated Development Manager/Surveyor is required, to help deliver the existing pipeline of development projects and contribute to building and shaping future development opportunities for the business.

Working alongside the Development Director, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing both existing relationships and building new ones, with the aim of building an exciting development pipeline for the team.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage & negotiate planning, design, and construction aspects of development projects.
  • Manage & negotiate disposals and acquisitions.
  • Create and Manage budgets, ensuring compliance and adherence to such budgets.
  • Prepare & update development appraisals and programmes.
  • Procure & manage 3rd party consultants who shall support project delivery.
  • Managing relationships with both existing and new partners and clients a
  • Providing regular project updates to the wider development team and funding partners.
  • Prepare Board reports and project updates for partners and shareholders.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should be and enjoy being a team player with the ability own and work projects independently.
  • Minimum 1 year post RICS qualification or minimum 3 years of Commercial Property experience.
  • RICS qualified, Degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in the commercial property industry
  • Understanding of the planning process and RIBA Stages preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience of working with and reporting to various stakeholders.
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Adobe and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic Salary circa £45,000 p.a. (may increase for a more experienced candidate)
