The Client & Opportunity
A highly respected National Real Estate Consultancy that is highly renowned for specialising in Business Rates is looking to appoint an MRICS/IRRV Qualified Rating Surveyor to join its’ national team, based out of York.
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven professional who ideally possess a detailed understanding of Billing Authority processes and procedures and Rating Statute and Legislation.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is commercially astute with good business skills and will have a background in surveying.
The role shall be based out of York, based on the following overview,
- Newly Qualified MRICS Surveyor
- Someone seeking to develop a career in Rating
- Specialist Valuation – Receipts and Expenditure & Contractors
- Working with experienced and recognised experts in the aviation and renewables sectors
- Property types – Airports, Airfields, Anaerobic digestion plants, Solar, Wind turbines, Battery Storage and other specialist category property
- Possibly someone with a Valuation Office Agency background, but not essential
- Opportunity for a significant increase in salary over the next 2-3 years
- Excellent client base, working with a long-established Director.

Remuneration
You’ll be rewarded with an industry competitive salary and benefits including but not limited to:
