The Company & Role
Our client is a PLC and niche property company that is looking to appoint a Senior Property Manager / Surveyor to their Real Estate team based in South Manchester, to deliver all property management activities to a portfolio of assets within a Regional Group.
This shall require being involved with all aspects of management of the portfolio and compliance with statutory requirements as well as assisting in the delivery of team’s financial budgets and targets.
You shall be responsible for delivering and ensuring a comprehensive property management service to all the assets within set regions; ensuring compliance with the company’s contractual and regulatory obligations; and ensuring customer satisfaction is maximised.
Other duties include you being:
- The escalation contact for small/medium risks
- Day to day supervision of the team
- The deputy for the regional manager, when required
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Good “people” skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous property management experience.
- Previous experience of service charge management.
- Strong knowledge of property legislation.
- Awareness of Health & Safety legislation.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Property Management Systems.
- Ability to think laterally about property solutions.
- Member of RICS or AssocRICS or working towards membership.
Other Considerations:
- Need to travel regionally and occasionally stay overnight in various locations.
- Full and clean UK driving licence essential.
- On call out of hours.
- Willing to be flexible with working hours.
- Attend all team and wider staff meetings.
- Maintain required CPD log (if RICS Chartered) and attend other agreed on-going training.

In addition, there is the possibility that whilst the position is an initial 12-month period, there may be the opportunity a full-time permanent role soon thereafter.
