An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our established team, at a leading built environment consultancy. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Lead and influence other cost managers within the team Work closely with the Reading leadership team for business development Manage clients and identify further opportunities Contribute to business development forums such as Sector Groups Provide pre & post contract cost management activities Offer advice on contract arrangements and conditions Prepare tendering documents and manage project costs Lead client-facing meetings, dealing with multi-disciplined teams Manage projects from inception to completion, handover, and in use

Qualifications:

To apply for this role, you must possess/evidence:

  • Experience leading projects and building client relationships
  • Business development experience in a similar role
  • High-level communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience using NEC Contracts and JCT Contracts
  • Relevant degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent)
  • Ideally MRICS (or equivalent) Chartered
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
