The Role & Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Director (or Associate) of Project Management, to establish a Project Management team, working alongside the long-established Building Surveying team of a market leading and highly reputable Property Consultancy, in its’ Manchester office.
This new ‘Head of Project Management’ shall be responsible for both establishing and growing the team, on a range of projects across commercial, residential and mixed-use, in the Northwest and North of England, for both well-established and new clients which includes but is not limited to Developers, Housebuilders, Investors and Public Sector.
Pre-Requisites
You shall have the following experience and skillset:
- At least 5 years of notable project experience, on multimillion pound schemes across the North/Northwest, working for a UK based consultancy
- possess a range of build experience, across a range of sectors, including, commercial, residential, mixed-sue projects etc.
- possess a construction related degree
- preferably have achieved Chartered status with the RICS or CIOB.
- have a firm grasp of technical Project Management and needs of the construction industry
- have strong contract administration experience
- be able to lead junior members of the team
- be competent when meeting with all clients, and up selling the services within the firm
- have contacts with other specialist consultants and contractors
- have a good understanding of the full development timeline, from feasibility, tender and delivery to handover
- good business development skills to help grow this side of a new business line.
Remuneration
- Competitive salary from £60,000 up to £100,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
