Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

If you’re hoping to start your quantity surveying career in the fast lane, or believe that it needs to be shifted-up a gear, read on to hear about a top job opportunity in Manchester.

A leading PQS is looking to recruit a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its friendly, close-knit team. If successful, you will be working on a range of varied projects, from design and build plans for national retailers to refurbishments for regional NHS trusts.

This practice offers successful candidates responsibility for managing their own projects, starting off on smaller scale maintenance and refurbishments, under the help and supervision of the directors, before progressing to becoming client facing. You would then operate closely with private and public sector organisations across the North West to help them deliver exciting projects.

About the role

The PQS is well admired by its clients for getting projects delivered on time, on budget, and for reducing associated risks throughout the process, which has allowed it to grow steadily over time. The company’s culture is derived from treating its staff well, and you will become part of a team that is rewarded with clear career progression opportunities to the senior and associate levels. The practice will also work with you to achieve MRICS status, if necessary.

The projects that you will be working on are varied enough for you to get involved in all aspects of quantity surveying, covering both pre and post-contract duties for your clients.

Above all else, you will be joining a team that is growing in size, and which works hard to provide exceptional results for its clients. However, you will still be working in a relaxed, supportive environment.
