About the company

I have an excellent opportunity working in South Manchester for a well-established, highly reputable law firm who are looking to recruit a hardworking, ambitious Residential Conveyancing Assistant into their team.
This forward thinking law firm focus on client relationships and aim to meet all of their clients business and personal needs, working both effectively and efficiently. As well as Conveyancing, this busy law firm also specialises in Private Client, Family Law, Company & Commercial Law, Commercial Property and Employment Law.
They are looking to recruit within their busy Residential Conveyancing Department as their team is quickly expanding due to market demands. As the successful Conveyancing Assistant, you would ideally have over 1 years Conveyancing experience and be motivated to progress and develop within a fast growing, forward thinking law firm.

About the role

For this Residential Conveyancing Assistant position, you will be working alongside the Conveyancers and Conveyancing Assistants supporting them with their work load, completing all administration work.
You will also be required to deal with new and existing clients so client care skills are essential for this position.

Ideally, as the successful candidate for the Conveyancing Assistant position, you will have:

  • A strong working knowledge of SDLT submission
  • Experience in opening File
  • Experience with Post Completion work
  • Be highly organised
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have excellent computer skills
  • Ideally have at least a year’s Conveyancing experience

This law firm is located near excellent transport links, and although doesn’t offer onsite parking, has available parking nearby. They also boast of offering competitive salaries and training and support to new and existing staff, securing longevity.

A degree would be desirable for this position but not essential.
